Beijing has been a gathering place for people from everywhere for centuries. Therefore, it is natural that there are various food in Beijing .

One popular snake in Beijing is the sesame pancake. It’s famous for its nearly twenty inner layers and a crispy outer skin .

Another delicious snack is the glutinous rice cake , which comes from the Hui people.

The other snack is the fried Chinese pancake. This crispy pancake with eggs and green onions is sure to hit the spot.

1.  up to 的用法

a. 只「多達…;高達…」       句型為:  V . + up to + 上限值

ex: She has up to hundreds pair of shoes .

 b. 指「由 N 決定」          句型為:  be  + up to +  N

ex: The final decision is up to the chairman . 

 c. 指「想、能做某事」        句型為:  feel  + up to +  N./V-ing

ex: If you feel up to swimming , count me in .

 2.         V…,or S.+V.   (要)… ,否則…

a. 祈使句 + or連接的子句，表示「提醒或警告某人做某件事，否則會有…的後果」

ex. Don’t touch it ,or you will get hurt.

 b. 若改用and 連接，則表示「某條件成立後就會發生某結果」

ex. Stand still,and the bear won’t  notice you. 

Eco-Art

Last mouth we took a lesson in Eco-Art. 

Mr.Ping Hsu showed us a series of pictures he took in Chiku.

Among those pictures,there was one that put impress on me ── a flock of  Black-faced Spoonbills gathered on 潟湖 to have a rest. Surveyed from a high place,they just looked like some sesame seeds.

They are so cute! Additionally,hope people in Taiwan can keep this place from being destroyed so as not to disturb these rare visitors.   

The secret garden

‘‘The door is locked and hidden , and the key is lost. No one has been inside the secret garden for ten years ── except the robin ,who flies over the wall.’’

It seems so mysterious. But before reading the book, I found that it actually described a girl reached maturity. A girl named Mary, the leading character in the story, had a bad temper in the past. After moving to Yorkshire, she made many new friends there.

Over time, she became kind and friendly ── even effect others.

The story reminders me of  the importance of being optimistic. Being optimistic, anything can be solved easily.
